Ice cream moustaches and beards and noses...
Today we went to the mall and met Dalton and Braxton there. They are SO adorable! And Dalton wanted to come home with me. What can I say, I'm smitten. :) LOL.

After seeing my kids get ice cream moustaches and beards. Dalton put his nose right into the icecream! And said I've got an ice cream nose. And Braxton had to show off his moustache. I could just eat them up. They are so cute. Sorry Miss Dana for teaching your sons to play with their food.

Just having fun

Austin thought it was funny to paint his "boy parts". Remind me next time to give them each an ice cube tray filled with different colored paints instead of giving them the bottles. Austin really liked to dump the paint. Then they were sliding around in the tub. And Ashley enjoyed mixing the paint.
Austin painted a dinosaur.Ashley painted a giant and a dinosaur. and Mason painted a red cross and a chrystal.
Now after they painted they were taking a bath. Well actually they took 3. One to get the paint off, one to get clean and one because I was in the shower and they wanted to be in there too.
But this picture is obviously the first one, where they are getting the paint off.
Gross I know but Austin puts his head down into the water and I said, "Austin what are you doing?" He said, "I'm being baptized!" I said, "Who is baptizing you?" He said, "I can baptize myself all by myself".
Then Ashley chimes in, "I'm going to tell everyone who comes over to get baptized."
HA HA HA! I didn't even know they knew anything about baptism yet. Goes to show you they are sponges at this age.
Speaking of sponges...Austin told Ashley that she was on his nerve. LOL

treasure
bribery

First it was I would take them to Target to get Popcorn...but that turned into ice cream.Austin was my toughest. I had to promise we would have purple day another day.

Then there were the kiddie rides...

And we ended up get chalk at the Dollar Tree. But hey I got a beautiful picture out of it.
Later that night we went to Dana's house and played...

Her cute kids and my kids got along great! And Dalton had a big crush on Ashley. But Ashley wouldn't have anything to do with his advances. Poor Dalton! We had a great time, the kids played well and we got to have some adult conversations. Then when we finally got our husbands to stop talking and for Greg to take our kids home, then Dana and I sat down to scrapbook. We started so late that I ended up crashing at her house. I only got 2 layouts done. But it was nice and like a vacation. :)

All is well

This morning Mason grabbed this snowman and said take a picture of me. When I told him I didn't have my camera. He said, "Well get your phone and take a picture." He was so cute I had to go get the camera.

Now this picture is the greatest! I'll have to scrapbook this one for sure. Does any titles come to mind for any of you scrapbookers?
Do all of you know about family night (Tuesdays 5:00- 8:00 PM) at Chic Fil-a? We just learned about this 3 weeks ago and I think it will become a ritual!
Kids meals are only 99 cents. And it is not limited to kids! So we go and buy 5 or 6 kids meals and only pay $5 or $6 for the whole family!
I just love this picture of Ashley, but I need to learn how to photoshop the dirt off of her face.
Have a happy day!

This and That
It's been crazy here, but for the last 3 days the kids have been good. I hope we are turning a corner into better behaviors!

Do you know this handsome little boy? It's Gabriel...Doris' little one. I have him in Bible class and he made me laugh so much on Sunday. I took this picture and he stumbled over his words and said, "pictures....NO MORE" and put his hand out to say stop. I couldn't help but laugh.
Over the weekend I actually was able to scrapbook at home. I haven't done this in a VERY long time. I got 8 pages done all for a baby book for a friend.
Have you ever seen Kindergarten Cop? I'm reminded of that show daily, as my children are facinated with talking and showing their body parts to each other. They made me laugh, because they got very confused with the Prince Charming doll. As Ashley would say, "Prince Charming is a girl because it has a "b"gina. So we had to explain that dolls are not made with boy parts. I asked their teacher today if they talk about it at school. And thankfully she said no. I was relieved since they talk about it all the time here. I'm afraid they are going to educate everyone who comes over.

Cute story...
I gave Austin a poptart last week. And his eyes were so bright and big and he said, "This is the BEST looking poptart I ever saw!!!!!" "And I've seen LOTS of poptarts"

Just a spoon full of sugar makes it just perfect!
But I just HAD to share this:
The kids have been watching Mary Poppins a lot lately. Do you remember when Mary Poppins meets the children and she pulls out a measuring tape and she tells the kids what they are like? I don't remember exactly, but something like stubborn and doesn't like to put away his toys. Then they ask her what she is. So she says very well and measures herself and it says, Mary Poppins practically perfect in every way.
Well the kids found a toy measuring tape today and Ashley measured me and said, "Just perfect". Can you see me smiling from ear to ear?
Then later she handed the measuring tape to Mason and told him to tell her how great she is. LOL

Little Shelley

Well most of you know my daughter, Ashley is a spitting image of her Mom. Today, she was standing by a mirror in the Family room and looking up at me. I really got a good glimpse of her and I said outloud to her, "little Shelley". And Mason who was in the room too, looked up at me and said, "big Ashley". I was rolling on the floor laughing!
At the end of the day I was telling Greg this story and Mason helped me tell it. Then Ashley had her little attitude and said, "don't call me little Shelley. I'm not Shelley." We couldn't help but laugh even more. :)
I thought that was pretty clever of Mason to say!
For all you local folks
I have clothes sized infants to 2T, both girls and boys. Some toys and other baby items.
Bring your friends.
Also, I'm still looking for kid plastic hangers. If you happen to have any that I could have let me know and I'll come pick them up before Friday.

stuff
Today was a really great day! We went to the track and as I walked with some of my friends, the kids rode their bikes around. They really liked it and it was such a beautiful day to be outside. Then we headed to Goodwill to drop off 3 bags of STUFF. I've been doing great with my de-cluttering! Then we went to Sams Club to eat lunch. Yep you heard right. They have great pizza and it isn't that expensive for a family of 5. It was really nice to just hang out with the family today. I really had on my agenda to go through the garage and get ready for the POTATO sale next weekend, but that didn't happen. Hopefully, I can do that after church tomorrow.
OH Greg sent me this email last week and it is SO cute. You just have to see it! It is of quad babies laughing!

Birthday surprise

Yesterday, we made a cake for Daddy and took it to his office. The cake said Happy Daddy on it. My battery on the camera was dying so I didn't get many pictures. First we stopped by Best Buy to pick up Daddy's present (Tears for Fears newest album). Aussie found a penny on the floor and said, "look Mommy". I said, "Are you going to put it in your pocket?" He said, "No, I'm going to give it to you to buy me a train." (smile)
On the way to Daddy's office, Mason said, "I'm going to count to ten and get all of daddy's friends to sing with me." I told him he would have to tell all of them to sing. So Ashley yells, "I'm gonna say ALL OF DADDY'S FRIENDS COME AND SING". They were so cute. We got there aound 4:30/4:45 and most of his workmates had left for the day. But the receptionist called Greg down to the lobby and when he got there the kids sang Happy Birthday. It was precious! Then we went back to his office and ate some yummy chocolate cake.

It's Snowing
Today I went to Scrap It and I made a book for Greg for his birthday and I also made this layout: This layout is of the first snow we had this year. We got just a dusting of snow and all of it melted before 10:00AM. We had to work really fast to make this snowman.
While I was scrapbooking, Greg took the kids outside to play in the snow today. He got some cute pictures. The rest of the pictures I'll post on Snapfish tomorrow.

Valentine's Day
I lost my battery to my camera and I didn't find it until after they got home from school. So needless to say I didn't get any pictures of them all together and I did not get a good one of Austin at all. Poor little fellow sat in water and dropped his pants outside. Thank goodness I had a pair of pants and underwear in the car. Do you know how hard it is to get eager kids inside after they've been waiting all day to play outside?
Anyway, I'm really glad I got this picture of Mason. I rarely have a good picture of him. I'll have to blow it up and scrap it.

Bluuuud
Today Austin stubbed his toe. It wasn't bad AT ALL! But he came running into the Kitchen saying:
I hurt my toe... I hurt my big toe again....I NEED blood.
Greg: Honey, you don't need blood.
Austin: Yes I do....take me to Red Cross and get me some blood.
Ok so that in itself is funny....but to hear him say it you would have been rolling on the floor. He says blood like this.... Bluuuud.

It's ringing...who will get it?
Why is it such a NEED to grab the phone? If it is important they will leave a message or call back right? So I'm just curious how many of you feel the telephone is just a convenience and you can let it ring and ring if it is not convenient for you to get it? Or how many of you jump to get the phone before the 3rd ring?
