Hi there..I'm here

My Mom wanted me to post my layouts I did over the weekend. They are not that good and I wasn't planning on sharing them, but for you Mom here they are. The pictures of the layouts are not that good either so that's a double whammy.

Austin again.

Me: I'm flustered.
Austin: flustered?
M: Yep! Flustered!
A: I'm flustered too.
M: Oh yah? Why are you flustered?
(He thinks for a minute)
A: Because you are wearing me out.

-------------------------------------------

Me: No Austin don't rip pages from a book!
(drops book on floor)
Me: Austin we don't treat books that way!
A: We don't???
Me: NO!
A: Why?
M: Because it's rude.
A: OOOOOH! I don't want to be rude.

Generations at Play

I think blogger didn't want me to put anymore pictures on the last post. So I had to start again. This is my favortie layout I did. And it is scrap lifted from Tammy Graves.

successful

I had a very successful day on Saturday at Scrap It. I actually got 8 layouts done and I'm happy with them. Of course my favorite is the one I scrap lifted from Tammy Graves.

Stuck on you was at Nana and Papa's house in May 2005. We had given the kids stickers to play with. And as you can see they stuck them all over themselves.

The next layout is still in Florida. It's called Beach Babe and Polar Bear. She had to take that bear every where we went. Well then I couldn't do a layout of just Ashley, so the next 2 are of the boys at the beach.

I was really into circles and stitching. And since I use lots and lots of blues, I was trying to cut down and use different colors.

God's small wonders is of the kids at Cheekwood when Gramma was here. They are looking at the fish in the pond during the summer.

And this is my little girl Ashley. It's all about her. She is probably saying Look at me in this picture.
And this is the layout I scraplifted. Generations at Play. I love how it turned out!

He FINALLY did it!

He did it! He did it! He FINALLY did it!

I have been struggling to get Mason to go potty. He has been absolutely terrified. So we have been forcing him to go. Last night, I put him on the potty and he whined and cried. The nurse told me to put him in warm water bathtub and it will force him to pee. She also said to keep the sink water running. Neither one of these things worked. I've been told to pour warm water on him. That didn't work either. Then I had a thought. I took his teapot and another cup, and I just poured water back in forth. It actually helped. Now guess what! He has peed all day about 7 or 8 times today in the potty. He wants to do it! Sitting down or standing up...He's got it! YAY!!! I could not be more overjoyed to hear tinkling in the toilet. The little fella who would beg for a diaper...doesn't even want me to put one on him for bedtime.

OK so that's the big news...now onto Ashley.... She cut her hair yesterday. Chunks and chunks of it. Thankfully she has so much hair that it still covers up all the hair that she cut off. I kept a lock of it for the scrapbook.

Let It Snow!

We had so much fun outside today. We needed to get out early before the snow melted. Mason was the first to roll in the snow. Unfortunately I didn't get a picture. Then Ashley rolled in the snow. Austin was a stinker. All he wanted to do was throw snowballs at me. And then knock down our snowman.

Mason helped roll the snowball to get it bigger. Then Ashley really wanted to help with the dressing of the snowman. she picked out the hat and carrots for nose and ears. She put the scarf and her mittens on.

Mason helped put the stick arms on. He was upset when I used his Legos for eyes and mouth. He wants them back.

Kiki's Delivery Service

Have you ever seen Kiki's Delivery Service? It is a really cute Japanese anime movie.

Well the kids just saw it for the first time Saturday and they have been pretending that they were characters in the show all day today.

This is a picture of Ashley pretending to be Kiki riding her broom. I wouldn't let her use my big broom, so they had to improvise with the horse.

Austin was pretending to be Tombo and Mason would just tell the story. It is so cute seeing them actually act out shows that they see.

Candy Candy Candy

Are you ready to laugh?

Ashley and Mason brought in some packages and asked me if they can open them. I was laughing so much and said no.

Mason said, "But we are pretending for it to be candy."

I said, "Well leave them in Mommy and Daddy's room and come downstairs and I'll give you a treat."

God promises the rainbow

This is so sweet!

It is raining here today. It had been thundering and lightning. But it just keeps raining.

Austin came to me and said, "I want it to stop (the rain). God promises us the rainbow."

Yesterday, Austin said, "Mommy, you are SO beautiful (pause) and old"
I said, "what I'm not old"
and he smiled real big and said, "AND your beautiful"

LOL! The little booger!

just a picture for the previous post

SO THERE! I had to try one more time before going to bed. Dishes are done and I'm falling asleep!

Cleaning is Such a DRAG!

Why is cleaning such a drag? I know I like it when everything is clean, but why can't I ever get it there?

I was upstairs trying to figure out my grocery list and went downstairs to a dissaster. Cusions off the couch, raisins all over in every room, boxes full of blocks and trains, chocolate milk all over the Kitchen floor, puzzle peices everywhere. If I ever focus on one thing, this is what happens.

I didn't sleep well last night. I must do the dishes tonight, but the rest will have to wait for tomorrow. I hope I can make it to bed by 12:00 tonight.

Well I tried to find a picture to share...but didn't have an appropiate one. So I thought I would share this of Ashley. I hope it makes you smile. OH SHOOT! I have tried 3 times to upload this picture and nothing is happening. URG! Now all I have is 15 minutes to get the dishes done. Goodnight. Here's hoping for a more peaceful day tomorrow.

Tonight I was rocking Austin to sleep. And he looked up at me and said, "Mommy, I feel it is my job to play".

Oh you know, I'm gonna have to scrapbook that one!

Wednesday Stuff

Out of the blue Austin told me I was kind and beautiful. Then Greg told me tonight he told Greg the same thing on the way to church. How sweet!

We had a really good day today. Ashley pee peed in the potty ALL DAY long, twice at Chic Fil-A and once at Scrap-It. I think it has come to the point where she will need to visit all the restrooms everywhere we go. Austin did pretty well, but he must enjoy having pee in his underwear. (eyeroll) And Mason... Mason sat on the potty several times today, but he just won't go. He held it all day and finally had an accident around 9:00PM. He is so afraid to go...does anyone know any tricks to get him to go? running water doesn't work and pouring water on him doesn't work either. We have read books to try to get his mind off of it, but nothing.

I finished painting my bathroom today. I was going to write that I am one of the worst painters ever, but it turned out ok. (well better than ok...it's nice). My inlaws painted our bedroom and had to leave before the bathroom was complete. Thank you Gayle and Steve for doing all the work you did on it! When I get everything cleaned up with some nice accents I'll take a picture and show you.

Anyway, Mason said something really funny today. We got in the car and he said, "I want to listen to Rock-n-roll." WHERE did he hear that? I figured Daddy must have been saying something to them and I was right. He was explaining to the kids that there is good rock-n-roll and bad rock-n-roll and old rock-n-roll. Ashley said she wanted to listen to Good rock-n-roll and Austin said, "I want to listen to Nasty old Rock-n-roll" Ay Caramba!

Well tomorrow they go back to school (yippeeeeeeee!) and my parents are coming in town. I have several things to do before they get here. If anyone wants to clean with me tomorrow, buzz me on my Yahoo messenger. chelles_email@yahoo.com We can support each other and hopefully get a lot accomplished. Ok if I don't know you please don't buzz me.

Christmas Fun!!!!

Ok- so it's been awhile since I updated.

Christmas was so fun! The kids just had a great time opening present after present. Austin was real quirky. He wouldn't open any of his presents until the other 2 had opened theirs first. I guess he just wanted all the attention. He was definitely the most appreciative of his gifts. He was playing with his trains in the Kitchen and he just kept saying over and over, "Mommy, I'm so happy with these trains, I'm so happy!" And the next morning I heard him in the monitor when he woke up he said, "Thank you Santa" SO CUTE!

Austin and Daddy put up this Thomas poster in their room. It makes me a little sad. They are growing up and growing out of their baby room.

Ashley is playing with their knew drums they got for Christmas. They also got a little "compano" as Ashley calls it. (Piano/keyboard). And they got a guitar.

I think Greg said this was one of the Best Christmas DAYs he has ever had. He got to be a kid again and put all the instruments and train tracks together. I emphasize DAY because by the end of his vacation week he couldn't take being with us ALL day long any more so he decided to go back to work a day early.
It's not easy raising triplets!

Oh how nice it would have been if they actually would have lined up on the steps for a picture. Isn't that Pooh bear cute? I got it at Toys R Us for $6.00. Ashley calls it her Polar Bear.

And I think I'll add one more picture so you all know I was there too. :)
