you are shooting digital...so maybe she would like to see herself on the camera when you are done? take a pic of something and show her how it looks on the camera, then ask if she wants to see herself on there, then try. also let her make a goofy face first and then a nice smile....usually that works when no one wants to look at me and smile. or just capture her when she is busy playing, you don't always need that "look into the camera and say cheese" pose!
One word - bribery. Seriously!!! Bribing 3 could be expensive but anytime I needed to take a pic of Caroline, I would seriously bribe her with a trip to the ice cream place, Chuck E. Cheese, the Dollar Tree, a new movie, etc. Worked every time!!!
Every once in a while she just plain wouldn't cooperate. Starting at about 4 1/2, she became a big ole ham and wants to look cute and smile nice. You'll see.
Hi! I'm a Mommy to 10 year old triplets. I have actually taken up the challenge of homeschooling them. (So far so good!) On the weekends I like to craft!

Have you tried the old "Hold this so I can take a picture of it" trick?
